First, we discuss the project with you to define the purpose of software and how it’s going to help you. Whether it’s to build brand, increase productivity, control staff activities, eliminate paper work, real-time reporting or to sell a product. This will help us to understand your existing processes, challenges and your goal for an ideal solution.
After this discussion, we will prepare a Project Proposal document. It gives an outline of our project brief, how we will work with you, the working features of the project, estimated costs, planned dates and agreed terms of engagement.
Following the go-ahead from you to proceed, we start the planning stage. This is the most collaborative part of our software project development which includes a meeting between your project stakeholders and the ISH technologies team.
We have found that one of the biggest challenge of software development at the early stage is communication, SO we will:
1. Designate a single contact point for you.
2. Give you access to project management software where every communication and document is saved. You can view and connect to the centre point and can have open engagement there.
3. Track your project or development on a daily basis.
Regardless of the documents and explanations we provide to you, we know it is hard to visualize the software before its delivery. At this stage, we will use our cutting-edge visualizing tool to develop a software prototype of your system. Your entire team can get a look and feel of the new system before we start any coding. This will give you the opportunity to have input to make the software more users friendly and productive.
We also produce a functional specification document (in plain English) outlining each aspect of the software.
Once the design phase is completed and approved, our development engineers start to build your software. The development progress milestones are update into our project management software and you can track the progress of the software development.
We use a proven testing and quality assurance process to test all code and design aspects throughout the development.
Our systems are developed to be tailored to the current workflow, so the need for formal training is significantly reduced. However, if you require, we offer full training either onsite or at our office.
We will provide support for your new software in the form of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) which is activated on launch of the system and includes:
priority bug fixing
assistance with any functionality you’re unfamiliar with
access to our online Helpdesk system, along with email support
